I'm a kindergarten teacher. Three of my friends and I opened this kindergarten a year and a half ago. We were looking for a good way to earn some money, that"s one thing, but we were also teachers who wanted to do something useful for the city; there were too many little kids and too little places where parents could leave them when they went to work. Our kindergarten is a very artistic place. We provide sculpture and pottery classes for the kids and we"ve also enrolled on origami instructor training. It was difficult to find, to be honest. We"ve looked for the courses not only in our area but in the whole country! Well, we finally found a community centre in a city situated two hundred kilometres away from our town. They"re organising origami instructor training for camp instructors, but we asked if we could enrol too and they said yes. We"ve already started the course and it"s really interesting. Origami is not as easy as I thought, though. But you don"t have to be perfect if you just want to teach kindergarten kids how to make a ship or a frog from a piece of paper. The course will last a month so we have to travel to the community centre three more times. But it"s definitely worth it. I think parents will be more than happy when we introduce origami classes into our offer!
